On July 31, 2025, the Ministry od Education, Youth and Sports (MEYS) who acts as the Programme Operator of the Czech-Swiss Research Infrastructure Initiative informed on their website about the result of the call No 8K2501 from June 12, 2025, aimed at submitting a pre-defined project.
The HOPE project aims to develop home care as a fully integrated and equal component of health and social services in the Czech Republic. It responds to the country’s changing demographic structure and the increasing pressure on the healthcare system.
The COMPASS project addresses the need to build a fair and sustainable financing system for home care in the Czech Republic.
In April 2025, the Ministry of Health launched a call for proposals under the Home Care Programme, as part of the Swiss-Czech Cooperation Programme. This call was exclusively aimed at the two eligible applicants of the so-called pre-defined projects, as specified in the approved Support Measure Proposal.
On 19 March 2025, Switzerland issued the Support Measure Set-Up for the Home Care Programme under the Swiss-Czech Cooperation Programme. This document entered into force on 1 May 2025, officially launching the implementation of the Home Care Programme.
