On July 31, 2025, the Ministry od Education, Youth and Sports (MEYS) who acts as the Programme Operator of the Czech-Swiss Research Infrastructure Initiative informed on their website about the result of the call No 8K2501 from June 12, 2025, aimed at submitting a pre-defined project.

The only eligible applicant based in the Czech Republic is the research consortium ELI ERIC. The project "SWISSELITE" submitted by the consortium met all conditions and requirements of the call and was recommended for support. It is expected to start immediately, in August 2025, and to reach its goal by the end of 2028.
