As part of the 3rd annual meeting, a Swiss delegation, together with representatives of the National Coordination Unit, the Ministry of the Environment, and other cooperating ministries, visited the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, where projects focused on nature conservation, responsible tourism, and public education in environmental issues were presented within the programme “Sustainable Tourism and Enhancing Biodiversity.
Last week, the Institute of Chemical Process Fundamentals of the CAS in Prague hosted a visit by Swiss partners, attended by representatives of the National Coordination Unit, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic, and other collaborating organizations. The main item on the agenda was the presentation of the project “SACA-ACTRIS – State of the Art Characterization of Atmosphere: Aerosols and Reactive Trace Gases” which is being implemented by the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute. The program also included a guided tour of the laboratories and the outdoor measuring station.
The 3rd Annual Meeting of the Swiss-Czech Cooperation Programme took place on Friday, 22 May 2026. Throughout the week, key programme activities were carried out, including expert consultations with partner ministries and visits to selected projects.
