Sustainable tourism and biodiversity in practice: Czech University of Life Sciences Prague presented five projects

As part of the 3rd annual meeting, a Swiss delegation, together with representatives of the National Coordination Unit, the Ministry of the Environment, and other cooperating ministries, visited the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, where projects focused on nature conservation, responsible tourism, and public education in environmental issues were presented within the programme “Sustainable Tourism and Enhancing Biodiversity.

Kick-off meeting for the so-called large projects of the Sustainable Tourism and Enhancing Biodiversity Programme

A total of eight projects aimed at promoting sustainable tourism and biodiversity in the Czech Republic have received funding of CZK 1.08 billion from the second phase of the Swiss-Czech Cooperation Programme. Their official implementation was launched on Wednesday, April 23, in Prague at a meeting between representatives of the Ministry of the Environment and the project implementers.
