Charita of the Czech Republic received financial support from the programme “Assisting Migrants to Intgrate into the Czech Republic” to implement the project “Together Toward Integration,” which aims to facilitate the integration of foreigners legally residing in the Czech Republic and of individuals seeking or already holding international protection

The “Together Toward Integration” project will offer comprehensive support to people who need to find their bearings in the Czech environment and navigate everyday situations. They will have access to professional social counseling, assistance with the recognition of foreign education and qualifications, accompaniment to government offices, interpretation services, and community, language, and sociocultural activities.

Approximately 3 000 foreign nationals are expected to benefit from the assistance during the project’s implementation. The services will be provided by a team of 30 professionals and therapists who are trained to work with foreign nationals and their children.

These people can get help from a nationwide, multilingual charity hotline (which provides interpretation, information, and psychosocial support) and counseling services in the Olomouc Region (Archdiocesan Charity of Olomouc) and the Zlín Region (Hometown Association, z. s.).

Our long-term programs are of vital importance to the lives of foreigners residing in the Czech Republic and thus contribute to the stability of society as a whole. We were very pleased to receive support from the ‘Swiss funds,’ as it will allow us to continue this important work,” said Klára Boumová, migration manager at Charita ČR.

The project will be funded through mid-2028.
