Framework Agreement

The basic document for the implementation of the Swiss-Czech Cooperation Programme is the Framework Agreement, which was concluded between the Czech Republic and Switzerland on 29 June, 2023. The Framework Agreement sets out the general principles and basic goals of cooperation between the Czech Republic and Switzerland, states the amount of the financial allocation of the Second Swiss Contribution for the Czech Republic and defines the legal framework for the implementation of the Swiss-Czech Cooperation Programme.

COUNTRY-SPECIFIC SET-UP

The Country Specific Set-Up determines the thematic areas of support, including their allocation, goals and strategic orientation, and establishes specific rules for the implementation of the Framework Agreement, including the duties and responsibilities of the entities involved in the implementation of the Swiss-Czech Cooperation Programme.

The Technical Support Set-Up sets out the structure and conditions for the implementation of Technical Support, including financial allocation.

Regulations

The Regulation on the implementation of the second Swiss contribution to selected member states of the European Union to reduce economic and social disparities within the European Union establishes general rules and procedures for cooperation programmes within the framework of the second Swiss contribution. Considering that exceptions and specific conditions were agreed for the Czech Republic in the Country Specific Set-Up, the provisions of the Regulation are supplemented by the conditions agreed between Switzerland and the Czech Republic.
